Job Description – Business Development
Meeting with corporate /institutional customers and assessing their insurance requirements, capture key demographics and present them with viable proposals.
Network and engage with CFO/HR heads and other key decision-makers in the company
Develop, maintain and retain excellent relationship with clients.
Achieve revenue targets
Ensure client Acquisition and help in increasing the revenue for the company with new business and cross sell opportunities
Prepare client Road Map for the Upcoming corporate Renewal in the General Insurance Business
Interacting with client to gather the required set of information to offer best insurance program to corporate
Understanding the business process of the client and suggesting the proper insurance policies along with value added cover
Handling corporate client in direct channel /Agency channel for General Insurance
Report daily MIS and tracking of targets & personal meeting with clients. He/she shall keep up breast of the latest developments & report to the Products/ Quotes team of the upcoming client requirements to innovate the product/service mix
Ensure end-to end single point service for the customer, to win and maintain his trust
Maintain effective documentation of the leads generated and customers acquired/ serviced and share MIS To regularly enter data in the software for capturing leads, customer contacted, servicing done, etc.
Maintain MIS on key performance indicators
Requirements and skills
- Relevant Experience in SME insurance product
- Strong track record in direct/agency channel sales
- Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player and good me-management skills
- Hold minimum of 2 to 4 year of experience in B2B Sales preferably from Insurance Industry.
- Graduate in any stream
